Texas A&M LEIAS is dedicated to being a voice for our voiceless furry friends. Through our philanthropy, we strive to support local animal rescues, promote animal welfare, and inspire our fellow Aggies and the surrounding community to #AdoptDontShop.

For many years, LEIAS proudly partnered with Urgent Animals of Hearne, hosting philanthropy events such as Trivia Night, Bark-B-Que, Food Fest, 5K-9 Runs, Olympics, and Howloween to raise awareness and support for rescue animals. We are incredibly grateful for everything that partnership represented and the impact it made on both our organization and the countless animals it helped.

This year, we are excited to begin a new chapter by partnering with Zoi's Animal Rescue. We look forward to continuing our mission of serving animals in need through new philanthropy events, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach. Together, we hope to make an even greater impact while carrying forward the passion for animal rescue that has always been at the heart of LEIAS.

About Zoi's Animal Rescue

Zoi's Animal Rescue is a foster- and donor-based rescue serving the greater Brazos Valley with a mission to provide a safe haven for abandoned, neglected, and dumped dogs—especially those affected by the dumped dog epidemic in Grimes County. Through the dedication of their volunteers and foster families, they give every dog the love, care, and second chance they deserve while helping them find their forever homes.

Because Zoi's is entirely foster-based, they rely on compassionate individuals to open their homes to dogs in need. Becoming a foster is one of the most impactful ways you can support the rescue, as every new foster family creates space to save another life.

You can meet many of Zoi's adoptable dogs at their adoption events or browse their available pets on Petfinder. Whether you're looking to adopt, foster, donate, or simply spread the word, every act of support helps make a difference for dogs waiting for a second chance.
